Cindy Zitelman
Cindy is an active member of the metropolitan Washington, DC Jewish community. She is on the board of the Jewish Coalition of Domestic Abuse. Together with her husband, Rick, they are founders of Save a Torah, Inc which rescues and restores Torah scrolls from Eastern Europe that have survived the Holocaust and places them in various Jewish communities throughout the world. She is the mother of 3 daughters, Shelby, Jackie and Amy.

Les Baer
Les Baer lives in McLean, Virginia with his wife, Marianne, and their two children, Ben and Gabriella. He has been active in the Metropolitan Washington DC Jewish Community since moving to the area in 1995, and served on the Federation Board from 2001-2008. Les is a strong advocate for Israel and has been on the Israel & Overseas Executive Committee since 2006. Prior to becoming Partnership 2000 co-chair, he served on the P2K committee since 2005. Les has previously chaired other Federation Committees, been an active campaign solicitor, participated in Federation Missions to Israel, and is active in his local synagogue, Temple Rodef Shalom.
Professionally, Les most recently co-founded gShare, a global sourcing and consulting company for Washington DC area companies. Many of gShare’s initial service providers were Israel based technology companies. Les holds BA and MA degrees from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
