*   Teen to Teen Exchange: Provide an opportunity for teens from both communities to meet and discuss issues of identity and teen culture.

*  Volunteer Apartment: A fully furnished apartment houses volunteers from Washington and South Africa who spend extended periods of time volunteering in the region.

*  Professional Exchanges: The creation of dialogue and cooperation between groups in the same profession or with common interest, including Early Childhood Educators, cyclists and vintners.

*  Gandel/Melton: Gandel Mini School offers Israelis an opportunity to acquire Jewish literacy and learn about community and social action. The Melton Mini School in Washington follows a similar curriculum. The two groups will meet during the two year course to do joint learning here and in Israel.
