From Na'im Be'yahad - (Pleasant Being Together) - Partnership 2000 Volunteer Newsletter, Writer and Editor: Israel Perez. Translation: Dorit Tavori
During the first meeting of the public relations committee the first subject discussed was the name of this newsletter (originally published in Hebrew in December 2000). Members of the committee made several suggestions and finally the name 'Na'im Beyahad' was chosen. The translation of the second word, 'Be-yahad' meaning 'together' is clear. However, although the literal translation of the first word 'Na'im' is 'pleasant' but there are two additional interpretations, in Hebrew the word contains the initials of the of Partnership 2000 communities in Central Galilee: Nazareth Illit, Emek Jizre'el and Migdal Haemek; in addition, "Na'im, also means moving forward. No doubt that it is pleasant to move forward together in the partnership communities.
