Dear Friends,
For many years the Central Galilee has proudly absorbed new immigrants from all over the world. Today, the difficult situation has significantly slowed down the flow of new immigrants, as Israel is perceived by potential olim as a much less attractive destination. Nonetheless, the hope that things will change has given rise to many new distinctive Aliyah initiatives.
Deeply aware of the importance of Aliyah in general, and its importance to the Central Galilee in particular, I wish to present for your consideration, a unique kind of Partnership between the Region and the professional agencies involved in the absorption of new immigrants.
The proposal aims to create a Forum of people who see Aliyah absorption as an uppermost mission. People who are interested in taking part in identifying and approaching potential olim in different countries, getting involved in their absorption in Israel and in the development of regional social absorption programs in the Region.
If any of you wish to be part of the Forum and actively contribute the efforts to enhance absorption of new immigrants in the Region, please let me know.
With best regards and in the hope that the future will bring us more peaceful days,
