TEACHERS SHARE VISIONS, BUILD JEWISH FUTURE

Forty educators from the Kinneret region, Tulsa, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and St. Paul are meeting this week in Israel to link their pupils with a shared curriculum. They started their joint experience by touring Jerusalem's old city, and quickly moved to workshops and an intensive training program.

Highlights of the weeklong program include:

  • Shabbat in Jerusalem
  • Educational Holocaust Program at Yad Layeled, Kibbutz Lochamei Hagetaot
  • Extensive Touring of the Kinneret Region, including Home Hospitality
  • Workshops on "Building a Virtual Jewish World" Project
  • Women Sing for Peace Concert at Naharayim Island of Peace
  • Israeli Folk Music
  • Discussions on Project Matching
  • Meeting with Residents of Golan Heights
  • Building Initial Joint Programs
