Forty educators from the Kinneret region, Tulsa, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and St. Paul are meeting this week in Israel to link their pupils with a shared curriculum. They started their joint experience by touring Jerusalem's old city, and quickly moved to workshops and an intensive training program.
Highlights of the weeklong program include:
Shabbat in Jerusalem
Educational Holocaust Program at Yad Layeled, Kibbutz Lochamei Hagetaot
Extensive Touring of the Kinneret Region, including Home Hospitality
Workshops on "Building a Virtual Jewish World" Project
Women Sing for Peace Concert at Naharayim Island of Peace
Israeli Folk Music
Discussions on Project Matching
Meeting with Residents of Golan Heights
Building Initial Joint Programs
