Gesture To Children Of Kinar And Noam Schools

This is a story about a wonderful child from far-off Milwaukee who decided to donate everything he had received for his bar mitzvah for the benefit of two schools in Tiberias, due to the community’s warm relationship with the Sovev Kinneret region within the Partnership 2000 project.

About two years ago, Josh Schneider and his family visited the two elementary schools, Kinar and Noam, before they underwent a general renovation with a donation given for this purpose by the Milwaukee community.

Josh decided that instead of receiving gifts, he would donate $5,500 to each of the schools ($11,000 in total) for sports equipment.

The Schneider family was given a heartwarming reception in the two schools, a ceremony was held in their honor and a performance by the school children.

We are grateful to Josh and his family, and consider him as part of our family.
