Teens from Boca Raton Celebrated Purim in Kiryat Bialik

Ten high school students from the Jewish community of South Palm Beach County, Florida, celebrated Purim in Kiryat Bialik. The teens reunited with their KB peers whom they hosted in Boca Raton last December for Chanukah. This is the fifth consecutive year of Jewish Roots, a unique youth exchange program focusing on Jewish heritage and values and connecting youths from the two sides of the ocean in long-lasting friendships. more

Jewish Roots

Jewish Roots is an educational program operated mutually in high schools in Kiryat Bialik and Boca Raton. It deals with Jewish values, history and identity, particularly emphasizing the different perceptions of Judaism and developing respect and acceptance of those differences. more

Educators from Boca Raton Visited Kiryat Bialik

Operating this year for the 4th time, Educators Exchange is a proven success in the partnership between SPBC and KB. It brings together teachers from the two communities to create educational programs, learn from each other and establish tight, warm bonds.

Heart to Heart Talks at Cafe English in Kiryat Bialik

Janet Rosenberg and Larry Rosenman of Boca Raton recently spent some two months in Israel. The two had visited their partnered community before and hosted visitors from KB in their home in Boca. Now they offered their help in any possible way while they are in the country. Together with P2K staff at the Jewish Agency, the idea came up to hold a series of weekly sessions of English conversation. more
