For Roni Gurion and more than a dozen other young Israelis visiting Central Florida, celebrating an American Hanukkah is a unique experience. They are all from Kiryat Motzkin, a northern Israeli town 15 miles from Haifa that was bombarded during the 2006 war with Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Kiryat Motzkin and Orlando are partners in the Jewish Agency Partnership 2000 program.
