Although we came to Kiryat shmona without a group, we have never felt alone.

The community here is extremely warm and welcoming and there is a distinct sense of family.

Beyond the hospitality , we have had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in various volunteer experiences. We have worked with both young and old , with mentally ill at a mentally ill patient club, with children doing pottery and with the elderly celebrating yom Yerushalim.

We are fortunate enough to be here for student day - a day of celebration commemorating Israeli students studying in university and college. We look forward to many more meaningful volunteering experiences!
