The P2K Young Leadership Forum has sent 4 artists from the Ramla-Gezer region to Kansas City to present their art in the Bi annual Jewish Arts festival that has taken place Sunday October 14, and to participate in various arts related activities in the Jewish and arts community in Greater Kansas City.
The Israeli artists, painter Noam Shemesh, photographer Linur Levy-Shemesh, Ceramicist Rachel Rothman-Gargi and woodworks artist Talia Selbst-Feldman, shared their talents with residents of the Village Shalom senior living community, and at the arts classes of the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy in Overland Park. The activities with the Israeli artist have generated a huge interest at these events, as the group and their hosts are expecting a lot more of excitement to come during this week of their visit. While in KC the artists are enjoying home hospitality. The group expects to forge meaningful professional ties that will lead to long term relationships between the partnered communities.
