As the community Shlicha, I’m happy to share with you the following information happening in our community:

We're saying goodbye to the two Young Emissaries (Shin Shin) from the Tzahar region: Shiri Jakobovitz from Rosh Pina and Arbel Zinger from Tzfat, after ten months of Shnat Sherut in the Jewish Community of Palm Beach.

After four years of not having a community trip, Palm Beach Federation is sending 19 teens from the community, accompanied by a Youth Worker, on the Gesher Hai trip. The group will be traveling to Israel for a month including ten days of home hospitality with Israeli teens from the Tzahar region. During the home hospitality period the Israeli and Americans will be traveling and hiking together in the North of Israel.
The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County will mark the ten year anniversary of Partnership 2000 with the Tzahar region by a large mission of people from Palm Beach to the Tzahar region. On June 23rd, we'll hold a celebration in Tzfat for that occasion.
