On November 16, nine Saint Louis women who came to Israel to attend the Lions of Judah National Conference, came by to Yokneam-Megiddo for a visit packed with activity.
Following a short briefing by the Partnership staff, the guests were engaged is hands on arts & crafts workshop with kids participating in two Federations funded programs: Otzma Enrichment Center and Youth Futures.

After having creative fun with the kids, women received a tour of the region and visited local artists Ruth Kaplan at her house in Yokneam Moshava and then met Yokneam Women's Forum ladies at the newly opened GAYA (Hebrew abbreviation for "yes we can") Yokneam Women Center. The visit included a short presentation of the Women's Forum, followed by a very festive and bonding activity - joint drum circle, where each participant was equipped with a drum and the group was guided to create an American-Israeli rhythmical ensemble.
