Dear P2K Family,

We are delighted that our "Desert Queen" initiative has generated interest among women in your communities. 

Registration for this unique "people-to-people" and "Israel at 60" celebration is underway with limited space still available. 

We would like to provide you with some additional details regarding the "Desert Queen" schedule (see official registration form attached):

• September 15th: Sleeping arrangements are provided by the Desert Queen organizers "Geographical Tours" and related costs are included in program (no additional cost).
• September 16th: One-day orientation in Israel prior to departing on this great outdoor adventure.  It will include a full day of activities designed to "getting to know one another" and preparation for the journey – including a 4WD off-road driving course.   Participants will meet in a designated location in Tel-Aviv where they will depart for the "orientation" as a group. Participants will return to Tel-Aviv where lodging and meals will be provided.
• September 17th: Departure from Jerusalem on a six-day expedition that will take place in the beautiful desert terrain of Israel's southern region.  The final route is kept confidential by the organizers, details only revealed to the participants on a day-to-day basis.
• September 22nd: Arrival in Eilat with closing ceremony. Sleep over in Eilat. 
• September 23: Transportation will be provided from Eilat to Tel-Aviv.  We are expected to arrive in Tel Aviv at approximately 2:00 pm.  From this point on, "Desert Queen" participants are on their own.  It is suggested that you book your return flight no earlier than the evening of September 23rd.

Please note:

• Overseas participants are being asked to arrive in Israel no later than September 15th and reserve return flights starting from the evening of  September 23rd.
• All lodgings and meals will be provided starting from the evening of September 15th through arrival back in Tel Aviv on September 23rd.
• If there are special requests, we can try to arrange pick-up from Ben Gurion Airport.
