    Yaakov Hagoel

    Yaakov Hagoel is Head of the Department for Activities in Israel and Countering Anti-Semitism of the World Zionist Organization. He is a member of The Jewish Agency Executive, a member of the Finance Committee and Co-Chair of the Task force on Anti-Semitism. Mr. Hagoel is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Keren Hayesod, of the Yad Vashem Council, and of the Herzl Council in the Prime Minister's Office. In the past, Mr. Hagoel served as Chairman of the World Zionist Youth Movement Council and as Executive Director of World Betar. Mr. Hagoel has been an Associate Member of The Jewish Agency's Board of Governors since 2010.

    Rabbi Richard Hirsch

    Rabbi Richard Hirsch serves as President of the Zionist General Council. Upon his retirement, he was elected Honorary Life President of the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ). Prior to that, he was Executive Director of WUPJ and Director of the Chicago Federation and Great Lakes Council of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations. In addition, Rabbi Hirsch was the Founding Director of the Reform Movement’s Religious Action Center in Washington DC and served as Co-Chair of the Former Soviet Union & Eastern Europe Committee. He has been a member of The Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors since 1972.

    Rabbi Rick Jacobs

    Rabbi Rick Jacobs is president of the Union for Reform Judaism, the congregational arm of the Reform Jewish Movement in North America. A longtime and devoted creative change agent, Rabbi Jacobs spent 20 years as a dynamic, visionary spiritual leader at Westchester Reform Temple (WRT) in Scarsdale, New York. Prior to his tenure at WRT, Rabbi Jacobs served the Brooklyn Heights Synagogue, where he founded and co-directed the first synagogue-based homeless shelter in New York City. He was ordained in 1982 by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) in New York, where he received numerous excellence awards. Deeply committed to the State of Israel, Rabbi Jacobs has studied for two decades at Jerusalem's Shalom Hartman Institute, where he is now a senior rabbinic fellow. Rabbi Jacobs is a product of the Reform Movement, and has held numerous leadership posts within the URJ, the CCAR, ARZA and WUPJ. He also has served on the boards of Jewish organizations in the community-at-large, including American Jewish World Service, UJA-Federation of New York, and, since its inception in 1996, Synagogue 2000 and its successor, Synagogue 3000. Rabbi Jacobs and his wife Susan K. Freedman have three children Aaron, David and Sara Freedman-Jacobs.

    Adnan Kandiyoti, originally from Istanbul, Turkey and now residing in Belgium, is the founder and owner of a textile trading company which is considered one of the most important commodity trading companies in Europe. In 1991, Mr. Kandiyoti became Chair of the Keren Hayesod Brussels campaign, and in 1994, he became President of Keren Hayesod Belgium, a position he held until 1999. He modernized Keren Hayesod's fundraising system and in 2004, was presented with the Yakir Keren Hayesod Award. He has been a member of The Jewish Agency's Board of Governors since 2008.
