Dror Morag has been a member of the Zionist Executive since 2010, and serves as Head of the Social Activism, Tikkun Olam and Preservation of Zionist heritage Department in the World Zionist Organization since 2020.

He’s a member of both the Executive and the Board of The Jewish Agency for Israel. He served as the Head of the Zionist Enterprises Department in WZO 2016-2020; the CEO of Herzl Educational Center 2015-2016; Secretary-General of Meretz from 2011-2015; Chairman and acting CEO of the Zionist Council in Israel in 2010-2011; and as Secretary-General of the World Union of Meretz from 2006-2010.

He has been a member of the Jewish Agency Board of Governors since 2010, and serves on the Board’s Resource Development Committee, Israeli Society committee and the Assets and Liabilities Committee. Formerly he served on the Activism and Government Relations committees Audit Committee and the Membership Subcommittee. He serves as a board member and Chair of the Finance Committee of the Jewish Agency Company Daroma Ltd. and is a former member of the board of The Jewish Agency Company Idud.

He is a member of HaShomer Hatzair’s Public Council; a Board Member on Herzliya Hebrew Gymnasium Secondary School’s directorate; and a former Vice President of IUSY (International Union of Socialist Youth)

Dror Morag was born in Jerusalem and grew up in Ra’anana. He is married to Kati and a father of two girls – Neta and Zoe.  As a participant in  HaMahanot HaOlim youth movement, he spent a Shnat Sherut (Gap Year) in a Garin Nahal (No. 204) in Kibbutz Beit Keshet. Afterward, he served multiple times as a Jewish Agency shaliach to Camp Ramah, the summer camps of the Conservative Judaism movement.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He earned a Masters degree in Public Policy with a specialization in conflict management and mediation from Tel Aviv University. He also holds a certificate in mediation.
