Dror Morag, 34, resident of Bat Yam, serves as Secretary General of Meretz since 2011. In 2010 he was elected member of the World Zionist Organization executive board. Additionally, Dror is serving on the Board of Governors of  the Jewish Agency since 2010.

Among his previous positions were Chairman of the Zionist Council of the World Zionist Organization, a  committees member of the Board of Governors of the Jewish Agency and a Shaliach (emissary) to several Conservative summer camps in the United States. Dror served in a variety of positions in Meretz, most recently the Secretary General of the World Union of Meretz.

Dror grew up in "Hamahanot Haolim," completing a year of service (shnat sherut) in Kibbutz Bet Keshet. He served in the military with his youth movement's Garin called "Tavor". 

He obtained his bachelor's degree from Hebrew University in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies and his master's from Tel Aviv University in Public Policy specializing in mediation and conflict resolution.
