Thousands of olim from all over the world who wanted to contribute to Israeli society have found their niche in education. In addition to formal instructional frameworks, olim are in the vanguard of creative informal educational endeavors, including in Jewish education, environmental education and attempts at bridging the cultural and religious divides that beset Israeli society.
