More than 2,000 people participated in the Spring Aliyah Fairs, which were held in the first week of April, in 10 major cities across North America.
These Fairs, organized by the Jewish Agency, were held in conjunction with the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption, local Federations, and other Jewish organizations.
Among the participants were representatives from the Student Authority, the Community Absorption Program from Ariel, Haifa, Kiryat Tivon and Eilat, the AACI and experts in education, taxation and employment.

A special effort was made to reach out to the Spanish speaking community in Florida, and present them with absorption and employment opportunities in Eilat.
The continuing effort in strengthening Reform Aliyah was also emphasized, by sending the Rabbi of the Yozma community from Modiin.
There was extensive local and international coverage of all these events.
The Fairs were held in New York, Miami, Washington DC/ Baltimore, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
