Tomer Harel is partner at Optimum, one of Israel’s leading companies in the field of government tender management and cross-organizational procurement process optimization for some of the country’s largest institutions. In 2023, Optimum was acquired and merged into one of the “Big Four” accounting firms.
Previously, Tomer served as CEO of the American software company Synergy Homeopathic Ltd., which developed professional software applications for practitioners of complementary medicine.
Tomer is a graduate of the School of Complementary Medicine at the College of Management and served for over a decade as Chair of the Israeli Association for Classical Homeopathy, as well as a member of its Executive Board. He founded the “HaSneh Forum” to promote regulation of the complementary medicine field in Israel, and was a co-initiator and contributor to drafting the bill to establish the National Council for Complementary Medicine.
Tomer is a co-owner of Vital International School for Homeopathy, one of Israel’s oldest and most prominent institutions for the training of homeopaths (established in 1997).
In his public and civic activities, Tomer volunteers as the Head of the Yesh Atid regional headquarters for the Southern Sharon area (since 2015), serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the World Zionist Organization (since 2023), is a delegate to the World Zionist Congress (since 2020), and acts as Deputy Chair of the Central Election Committee for the Central District, Kfar- Saba.
In the past, he taught music at the Israeli School in Paris. During his military service, both regular and reserve, he served as a medical-team instructor in the national unit of the IDF School of Military Medicine.
Tomer is married and the father of four children.
