Sanford (“Sandy”) Antignas is Chair of the Board of Directors of the United Israel Appeal (UIA) subsidiary of Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA). He also serves as a member of JFNA’s Board of Trustees, Executive, Israel & Overseas, Endowment, Nominating and Audit committees. He previously served as Chair of JFNA’s Governance Committee, a member of its Budget and Finance Committee and Chair of UIA’s Companies and Properties Committee.

He is Vice President of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York (JCRC-NY), Chair of its Community Relations Initiative, Chair of its Nominating Committee and serves on its Board and Executive Committee. Sandy previously served as Chair of JCRC-NY’s CEO Search Committee and Co-Chair of its Israel and International Affairs Committee.

For UJA-Federation of New York (UJA) Sandy currently serves on its International Planning and Allocations Committee. Previously he served on UJA’s Board of Directors and has chaired and served on many UJA Israel, global, national and local related planning and grant making committees, including most recently as Chair of its committee that coordinates UJA’s work in Israel.

Sandy serves on the Board of Governors and the Executive of The Jewish Agency for Israel and on the Board of the American Joint Distribution Committee. He is an alum of the Wexner Heritage Program and the JFNA National Young Leadership Cabinet.
Sandy is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Trestle Management, a family office after serving as the COO of global asset management firms and member of various boards of directors in the US and overseas.

He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (BS), earned his MBA from New York University and is a degree candidate in International Affairs at Columbia University.
