Haim is a member of the Zionist Expanded Executive; member of the Directorate of the JNF; Chairman of the World Sephardic Federation in Israel and World Vice President; in the past he served as Chairman of the Workers Committee of the Jerusalem Municipality and was a member of the city council and the Secretary of the Jerusalem District of the Labor Party.

Haim was born in Spain and lives in Moza Ilit.

He has been a member of the Board since July 2019.
