For Fattal, Dan, and Isrotel Hotel Chains
Gvahim NGO, in partnership with the Jewish Agency for Israel and the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, is thrilled to announce the launch of a professional managers training program tailored to individuals aspiring to work in the esteemed Dan, Isrotel, and Fattal hotel chains.
Israel’s hospitality sector seeks qualified and skilled personnel. This re-training and employment program has been developed in an effort to elevate the industry’s professionalism.
This comprehensive program combines vocational training with Hebrew language study at an appropriate level, enabling participants to acquire the necessary qualifications.
Upon completing the full course successfully, graduates can access support in securing employment across the country’s hotels.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Eligible for Aliyah (Israeli citizenship) according to Israeli law
- Age range: 22 to 45 years old
- Completed 12 years of education (High School level)
- Excellent health
- Successful completion of tests, a personal interview, and a psychometric assessment
Program Phases:
- Ulpan Hebrew. Duration – 5 months: starting June 2024.
- Professional management training in the hotel industry. Duration – approximately 6 months: starting December 2024.
- Employment within Dan, Isrotel, and Fattal hotel chains: from June 2025.
Dates and schedules are subject to change.
Training Location and Format:
- Ulpan classes will occur at the Haifa Ulpan.
- Vocational training will be held at the Be-Chef College in Haifa.
- Program participants have access to subsidized temporary housing (NIS 100/night) provided by the Haifa Municipality during their initial 2 weeks in the country.
Vocational training covers various aspects, including:
- Introduction to Hotel and Tourism Business
- Hospitality Services
- Hotel Management
- Beverage and Catering Management
- Event Planning
- Room Service
- Restaurant and Hotel Canteen Management
- Along with other relevant professional skills
Please Note:
- This program is NOT open to returning Israelis (Toshav Hozer status) or individuals who were born in Israel.
- All training incentives within the program are exclusively accessible to program participants and do not extend to their family members The State of Israel has made substantial investments in establishing this program. By choosing to participate, you commit to successfully completing your studies and not discontinuing your involvement in the program unless under compelling circumstances.
- You may arrive in Israel no earlier than six weeks before the program begins. Arrival in the country after the program’s start date is not permitted.
