Ms. Sondra Sokal serves as President of Young Israel of West Hempstead and is an Officer and Member of the Cabinet of the American Zionist Movement.

Ms. Sokal is Chair of The Jewish Agency’s Budget and Finance Subcommittee on Support and Operational Functions. Prior to that, she was President of AMIT, having previously served as Treasurer and Vice President. A graduate of City University of New York, she has conducted research on various aspects of public health policy.

Ms. Sokal has been a member of The Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors since 2002.
