In response to the Knesset advancing a bill that would grant the Chief Rabbinate exclusive authority over holy places, The Jewish Agency for Israel issued a statement expressing concern that the amendment risks deepening divisions within the Jewish people.

"From October 6 To October 7,” a new documentary chronicling the life of Major General (Res.) Doron Almog, Chairman of the Executive at The Jewish Agency for Israel, had its international premiere during the 37th Israel Film Festival in Los Angeles on February 15th, followed by a Q&A featuring Almog, in an event sponsored by The Jewish Agency.

The grant supports The Jewish Agency’s Security Assistance Fund, which has allocated more than $27 million to over 1,000 Jewish institutions in 88 countries.
