Yaakov Hagoel is Chairman of the World Zionist Organization served as Acting Chairman of the Executive of The Jewish Agency from July 2021 until August 2022.

He is a member of The Jewish Agency Executive, a member of the Finance Committee and in the past served as Co-Chair of the Task force on Anti-Semitism. Mr. Hagoel is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Keren Hayesod, of the Yad Vashem Council, and of the Herzl Council in Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office.

In the past, Mr. Hagoel served as Chairman of the World Zionist Youth Movement Council and as Executive Director of World Betar. Mr. Hagoel has been a Member of The Jewish Agency’s Board since 2010.
